CORE VALUES
Bryan Robinson's journey is a testament to the values of continuous learning, patience, persistence, and gratitude. Inspired by his grandfather's late-life achievement of building a winery and his own childhood experiences climbing mountains with his father, Bryan emphasizes the importance of hard work and determination. These life lessons have shaped his approach to challenges, instilling a deep appreciation for perseverance and humility gained through overcoming obstacles and seeing the world from new perspectives.
Never stop learning.
My grandfather was a true inspiration. At the age of 60, he accomplished what most wine drinkers only dream of: he built a quaint winery nestled in the rolling hills of Sonoma, California. It's a testament to his lifetime of hard work, determination, and love for the art of learning. The vineyard was a family event, not filled with days on the veranda sipping the latest wines. Instead, it was about hot summer days spent picking rocks from the fields and endless late summer days of plucking grapes over and over.
patience, persistence, and gratitude
When I was young, my father encouraged me to explore the great outdoors, insisting that nothing could compare to the excitement and adventure that nature has to offer. At the age of five, my mom, dad, and I embarked on my first climb up Mt. St. Helens, long before it erupted. Despite the challenges, I persevered and continued to tackle even more difficult mountains, such as Mt. Shasta at the age of twelve, and have had many adventures since.
A New Perspective
These experiences taught me the value of patience, as my father would often remind me that the summit was just beyond the next hill, even though there were often many more false summits to come. From the top of a mountain, I gained a new perspective on the world below, and it reminded me to stay humble.
